Blessed [by God’s grace and compassion] is he who considers the helpless;
The LORD will save him in the day of trouble.
The LORD will protect him and keep him alive;
And he will be called blessed in the land;
You do not hand him over to the desire of his enemies.
The LORD will sustain and strengthen him on his sickbed;
In his illness, You will restore him to health.
As for me, I said, “O LORD, be gracious to me;
Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You” (Psalms 41:1-4).
The helpless and innocent are the main targets of the aggressor because they don’t usually fight back. consider the parent-child relationship, the child is dependent on the parent for guidance but the enemy says, “you are alone” and the rest is downhill. If the parent is not there to overrule the enemy’s clever words, the child will go astray and the parent will pay the ultimate price. Maintaining an ethical edge is the child’s responsibility and if he/she does, they will know the protection of the Lord.
I pray for my families that you will be with each and every one of them. I pray especially for those who have been severely wounded, our law enforcement community, EMTs, military, city of Stacy, State of MN, and the condition of my USA. May I always be a source of encouragement to you and to those who are reading?
