Daily Psalm 7/4/2021

Hear, O daughter, consider and incline your ear [to my instruction]:
Forget your people and your father’s house;
Then the King will desire your beauty;
Because He is your Lord, bow down, and honor Him.
The daughter of Tyre will come with a gift;
The rich among the people will seek your favor.
Glorious is the King’s daughter within [the palace];
Her robe is interwoven with gold (Psalms 45:10-13).

When we become part of G_d’s Kingdom, by faith in Christ Jesus we leave t things behind us such as the behaviors that caused us issues. The people that once considered us hopeless, will seek us out to know what made the difference in our life. When Jesus called the 12 disciples, they were men of little re-known or, were outcasts of society like the dregs. Once these men walked in the light of Jesus Christ, their lives were turned upside down and the group was sought out especially during the two missionary trips. In the same way, when we were called from darkness into His light, we became new creations in Christ Jesus.

Thank you for your unmerited grace and mercy. When you called me, I was an outcast among my peers. After that fateful day over 35 years ago, you changed my life in ways no adherence to the law, no promises, and/or Self-Help books could possibly do. I was not changed just because I picked up the Word of G_d, I was changed because Jesus’ blood covered my life and gave me a new foundation to stand on. May I ever seek to serve you all of the days of my life. I pray for my families, my Law Enforcement Officers, the US military families, the EMT staff, teachers, preachers, the city of Stacy, the State of MN, and my USA. I pray especially for those dealing with the destruction down in Miami and those that are in the eye of the storms.
