Daily Psalm 8/26/2021

My earthly life clings to the dust;
Revive and refresh me according to Your word.
I have told of my ways, and You have answered me;
Teach me Your statutes.
Make me understand the way of Your precepts,
So that I will meditate (focus my thoughts) on Your wonderful works (Psalms 119:25-27).

One of the most difficult concepts to get through our heads is that sin is the roadblock that stops us from going to church, spending time in His Word, and/or breaks up familial relationships. Making mistakes isn’t the end of the world but, it needs to be dealt with. It is easy to ask the Lord’s forgiveness because we do his physical face. Where the problem occurs is facing the physical individual we have hurt. The thing is when we go to the Lord and confess our error(s), just as Paul wrote to Philemon on behalf of Onesimus (Philemon 1:8-11), the Lord helps us to face the people we have offended. Once the weight is lifted from our shoulders, we are refreshed and we can sleep again, the Holy Spirit can teach us again, and we will be hungry to learn His word.

Please help me to always rectify the errors of my life that there will never be a roadblock between me and you. Lord, I want to learn your statutes that they can be applied to my life so that I can live successfully in your Kingdom and can share the good news through this web page. When temptation nudges at the door of my heart, help me to remember who I serve and who is at risk should I commit sin by acting on the temptation. I pray that you will watch over my family and friends and keep them in your eternal arms. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will keep them safe and get them home at the end of their shift. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA. thank you for healing our world oh Lord.
