Each of the Priests had a censor for offering incense to the Lord or, “the prayers of the people” (Revelations 8:4). Each of the censers was unique to the individual so that they could be identified. For example, the ones belonging to Nadab, Abihu, and Korah. Today, censers are used in the church and have been since the 1st century. Because we are a kingdom of Priests (Revelations 1:6), we each have our censers which are the prayers for the people that surround us. Where we need to be careful is how we use that censer so that we do not misuse it.
