Daily Psalm 9/23/2021

Let my cry come before you, O LORD;
give me understanding according to your word!
170 Let my plea come before you;
deliver me according to your word.
171 My lips will pour forth praise,
for you teach me your statutes.
172 My tongue will sing of your word,
for all your commandments are right.
173 Let your hand be ready to help me,
for I have chosen your precepts.
174 I long for your salvation, O LORD,
and your law is my delight.
175 Let my soul live and praise you,
and let your rules help me.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant,
for I do not forget your commandments. Psalms 119:169-176

Sin’s intent is to keep us from the Lord G-d. When we can learn to see beyond the smoke screen, we’ll see that the Lord is indeed bigger than our sins, He will forgive sin, and restore us if we ask for it. If we do not develop a strong background in faith in the Lord, the sin will blind side us and we’ll never go back to the Lord because we’ll believe the lie more than the truth.

Father,

As I bring before you my family and those you have given me to pray for, I ask for your help to maintain righteousness at all  costs. While your word is endued with power for us to be restored, help me to live according to what you have taught me so that I will never be ashamed. Lord you are G-d  and in you I place my trust. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray.
