Daily Psalm 9/28/2021

Let my cry come before you, O LORD;
give me understanding according to your word!
Let my plea come before you;
deliver me according to your word.
My lips will pour forth praise,
for you teach me your statutes.
My tongue will sing of your word,
for all your commandments are right.
Let your hand be ready to help me,
for I have chosen your precepts.
I long for your salvation, O LORD,
and your law is my delight.
Let my soul live and praise you,
and let your rules help me.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant,
for I do not forget your commandments (Psalms 119:169-176).

Each of us, at one time or another in our life, has gone astray or had misunderstood the Lord. In those dark times we, just like Job, feel that G-d is not listening to us or that we have offended Him somehow. It is in those times that we need to stop, quiet our fears, and seek the Lord through prayer and meditation. I will tell you that there is no pit that you can possibly go to that the Lord cannot save you from. Equally, there is no hurt so deep that a touch from Him will not heal if we will simply ask. His Word is not just a book with 66 different books to give us something heavy to carry around with us, it is the power and authority of G-d unto salvation (Romans 1:16).

Father,

I pray for those who are struggling tonight. The Devil’s a liar Father and nothing he says is anywhere near true. Help my brothers and sisters in Christ tonight as they go to sleep. Be with those who are struggling in their walk with you that they would overcome whatever struggle they are facing. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray.
