Daily Psalm 10/3/2021

Why do you boast of evil, O mighty man?
The steadfast love of God endures all day.
Your tongue plots destruction,
like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit.
You love evil more than good
and lying more than speaking what is right. Selah
You love all words that devour,
O deceitful tongue (Psalms 52:1-4).

Oh the untameable tongue, it boasts of evil it has not done to flatter itself among its peers. When trouble comes, the untameable tongue hides behind words and gestures to keep itself out of trouble but leaves the hand, foot, and heart to pay the price. The Devil is the tongue that lays claim to heaven but cannot get off of the earth. The Lord calls us to ignore the tongue and listen for the shepherd’s voice (John 10:27-28).

Please help me today to listen to your voice. I know that you will never go against your word. Because I know the Devil is shrewd, please help me to always stay in your word that I may know the truth and be set free. Thank you for this wonderful day and for healing our land. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray.
