Daily Psalm 10/21/2021

For a day in your courts is better
than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
the LORD bestows favor and honor.
No good thing does he withhold
from those who walk uprightly.
O LORD of hosts,
blessed is the one who trusts in you! Psalms 84:10-12

If you could order your day in such a way as to bring optimal joy and peace, would you do it? What if I said, “you can but at a price”? The thing is, as humans we want things our way and on our terms but do not realize the cost involved. If we are to walk upright before G-d, it implies that we are walking out of step with the world. The question to be asked is, “which King will you serve”? If it is the King of this world, you will have to change your beliefs as the morals and direction change. If you choose to serve the Living G-d, His morals and values never change.

May I daily dwell in your Kingdom that I change my ways to be like yours? This world offers many venues for entertainment but none can hold a candle to your presence. I pray for your guidance in all things, that I would be obedient to your will, and that you would be pleased with me always. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world.
