Daily Psalm 10/31/2021

Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem!
Praise your God, O Zion!
For he strengthens the bars of your gates;
he blesses your children within you.
He makes peace in your borders;
he fills you with the finest of the wheat.
He sends out his command to the earth;
his word runs swiftly.
He gives snow like wool;
he scatters frost like ashes.
He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs;
who can stand before his cold?
He sends out his word, and melts them;
he makes his wind blow and the waters flow.
He declares his word to Jacob,
his statutes and rules to Israel.
He has not dealt thus with any other nation;
they do not know his rules.
Praise the LORD! Psalms 147:12-20

When we experience a life change like the start of a new job, a marriage or a birth of a child, we  pray for G-d’s best. The problem is, how successful or how much we fail is up to us. G-d will never work with a rebellious or an impatient child. In a way, developing our walk with the Lordis like putting a model together. The box is like G-d’s Word, it depicts what the item should look like when it is put together. When we read the instructions and follow them to the letter, we are successful. When we do like I have done, the product doesn’t look like the picture. Developing a successful walk or a ministry takes time so when we go ahead of G-d, unexpected outcomes occur like the case of Sarai and Hagar.

In Jesus’ name as I come before you, thank you for the day you have given us. You have blessed us with a beautiful daughter inlaw, a grandson and an adopted grand daughter. Help me daily in my walk with you to wait for you and trust you when you give the command to move out. I love you Lord and I am blessed each day I spend with you. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world.
