Daily Psalm for 2/17/2022

G-d is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains are moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah Psalms 46:1-3

One of the most difficult concepts to get through our thick heads is, “Do not lose faith in the Lord G-d of your salvation”. When we turn our backs to sin and accept the Lord’s forgiveness, we start on a journey that will lead us from where are to where the Lord wants us to be. When we say “no” to the Devil, he will turn the heat up by altering our surroundings and making us feel “hopeless” and ultimately surrender. I encourage you to hang in there and not lose hope because the Lord wants you to know today that the storms you are facing are about to break and the joy you have will not be taken from you.

As a nation, we are being deluged with the problems with COVID, fear, and war. I know that his time is short so he is going to put there everything he can in hopes to garner support. I pray for my nation and families that the blood of your son is poured upon her. You are my refuge and strength my very present help in times of trouble. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I pray for the truckers who carry supplies to our communities. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer (Psalms 19:14).
