Daily Psalm 2/26/2022

For you are my rock and my fortress;
and for your name’s sake you lead me and guide me;
you take me out of the net they have hidden for me,
for you are my refuge.
Into your hand I commit my spirit;
you have redeemed me, O LORD, faithful G-d. Psalms 31:3-5

we have choices in life, we can be part of the problem or part of the solution, we can be a Joshua or a Pontius Pilate. When Jesus said, “into Your hands, I commit my Spirit”, he was saying “my Spirit is not tainted by sin and my actions have been consistent with Your word”. when we have sinned before G-d, we can either remain beaten or accept Jesus’ offer and have our soul cleansed by the blood. like Peter, each of us has done things that we are not proud of. The thing is, we can let those things beat us up or use them as a diving board to freedom from the bonds of sin.

Father,

Undoubtedly, no one is without sin, and nor has anyone, except Jesus, made it through life without sinning. Lord may what I do today please you and may I let go of every sin and chains that hold me bound. Your greatest desire this Easter Season is that we are free from sin’s entanglements. I pray especially over the war going on in Ukraine that you will bring this battle to the expected end; please watch over the people in Europe and the world at large. I pray for those who are negatively impacted by COVID and the Omicron. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I pray for the truckers who carry supplies to our communities. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer (Psalms 19:14).
