Daily Psalm for 3/10/2022

Blessed be the LORD,
for he has wondrously shown his steadfast love to me
when I was in a besieged city.
I had said in my alarm,
“I am cut off from your sight.”
But you heard the voice of my pleas for mercy
when I cried to you for help.
Love the LORD, all you saints of the Lord!
The LORD preserves the faithful
but abundantly repays the one who acts in pride.
Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the LORD! Psalms 31:21-24

There will always be times in our life when we cannot sense the presence of the Lord. In those times, our prayers seem to fall flat and the problems just grow exponentially. The thing is, when we feel like this it is very easy to become depressed and despondent. It is in these times that our faith is tested to see if we will trust although we cannot see, hear, or sense His presence. The proof of G-d’s presence is in His promise not in our feelings.

Thank you for your abiding promise. I know that life is full of problems, points where we are tripped up, and times when we feel alone. The Devil provides many examples to prove how alone we are because when we are alone, we are not a threat. Yet when we grab hold of your promises for our life, his prompting through the demons of Hell has no effect on us. I pray for my brothers and sisters in the Ukraine who are enduring battle conditions that you will be with them through these terrible times. As we prepare for Easter and the celebration of your son’s resurrection, help me today to study to show myself approved a workman who has no need for reproof. I pray for those who are dealing with illnesses and troubles in the home that you will be with them and help them through the storms. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I pray for the truckers who carry supplies to our communities. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer (Psalms 19:14).
