Daily Psalm for 3/13/2022

In just a little while, the wicked will be no more;
though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.
But the meek shall inherit the land
and delight themselves in abundant peace.
The wicked plots against the righteous
and gnashes his teeth at him,
but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he sees that his day is coming.
The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows
to bring down the poor and needy,
to slay those whose way is upright;
their sword shall enter their own heart,
and their bows shall be broken. Psalms 37:10-15

Dealing with wicked, boastful, arrogant, and violent people is very hard spiritually, mentally, and physically. These people pick nits about the character of the righteous person and people laugh at it because it’s not them and nor does it affect them. Yet, when it is us that the comedian is making fun of, we feel every stroke of their words and we believe that we are the ones that need to change. true opponent, the Devil, will incite us to take action against the offender. It is in those times that the still small voice of the Lord speaks “peace be still” and if we listen to it we will receive strength to stand our ground and pray for the person.

I know my shortcomings and I am not blind to my faults. Unfortunately, our common enemy the Devil plays both sides of the issue and finds pleasure in creating trouble for your creation. Whether or not I am liked in this world is of little consequence to me compared to the greater consequence of offending you. I pray Father for strength and courage that I may always be a source of encouragement to the people in this world. I pray for the people the Ukraine and Russia who are caught up in the present struggle for power. I know that you reign and that nothing in this world past, present, and future occur without your knowledge. I pray especially for my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus that they will bind together despite disagreements over doctrine. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I pray for the truckers who carry supplies to our communities. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer (Psalms 19:14).
