I will sing of steadfast love and justice;
to you, O LORD, I will make music.
I will ponder the way that is blameless.
Oh, when will you come to me?
I will walk with integrity of heart
within my house;
I will not set before my eyes
anything that is worthless.
I hate the work of those who fall away;
it shall not cling to me.
A perverse heart shall be far from me;
I will know nothing of evil. Psalms 101:1-4
Trusting in the Lord, as I have said before, is easier said than done. When we are deep in sin and addiction holds us bound, we are laughed at, become the drunkard’s song, and are excluded even by those who got us hooked. When we turn our eyes and heart to the Lord and utter “I can’t make it without you no matter how hard I have tried”, we are ridiculed for our audacious choices. Understand this, coming to the Lord creates more conflict in our lives not less, and starts a Civil War of sorts. The minions of Hell will try to tell us “you need” and “you deserve blank”. When we take hold of the Lord’s hands and refuse the hold the Devil has on us, we’ll be successful. As we get closer to Easter and the Ressurection celebration, my prayer for you is that you will place the things that keep you from living a full and joy-filled life in Christ Jesus before the Lord that this is your 2nd chapter of Acts.
I pray for my readers that they will find joy in you beyond all doubt. I pray that this Easter season is the spark in the people’s hearts that will break the power of the enemy. As I consider my life and the choices I have made may this Easter be my 2nd Chapter of Acts as well. I pray for my nation as the war in Ukraine is spinning up that we’ll get wise leaders who will reset the course of righteousness in the nation. I pray for those who are struggling with illnesses that they will be healed and restored. I pray for those who are enduring pain and suffering due to injuries that this is their season for being healed. I pray in the time of your favor “now” that you will send this message to the far reaches of the world that it will accomplish your purposes. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I pray for the truckers who carry supplies to our communities. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer (Psalms 19:14).
