Daily Psalm for 4/26/2022

I love you, O LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies Psalms 18:1-3

Joshua proposed the question “who will you serve”? As children of the Living G-d it is very easy to be lulled into a false sense of security and although confessing the Word do not obey it. There are many people in the churches across the land that confesses “I serve the Lord” but do not obey His word nor walk in obedience. Confessing that the Lord is our strength enables us to answer every challenge and every difficulty this Psalm comes alive in our souls and it becomes more than words it becomes the code of our life overflowing with abundance (John 7:38).

Your greatest desire for your children is that they would walk in obedience to You so that the world may see the difference and give glory to you. Jesus, you taught the people of Jerusalem and the surrounding cities for two years, healed many people, and fed the populace but it would take the spear of the Centurian to see that you were who you said you were. Your mission was a success not because of your gift of gab or your knowledge of the scriptures but because you walked in obedience to the Father. Help me today to walk in obedience to you in all of my ways. I may never know the people who are affected by my words but I pray that they reach even the darkest of hearts because it is for Your glory, not mine. I pray for those who are in need of a special touch from you and I am thankful for those who have been cleared of an illness. I pray over the destruction occurring in Ukraine and Russia. I know that weapons and fuel will never save the nation but only by the move of your hand. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I pray for the truckers who carry supplies to our communities. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer (Psalms 19:14).
