Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O LORD,
and whom you teach out of your law,
to give him rest from days of trouble,
until a pit is dug for the wicked.
For the LORD will not forsake his people;
he will not abandon his heritage;
for justice will return to the righteous,
and all the upright in heart will follow it. Psalms 94:12-15
Being disciplined by the Lord is not a punishment rather, it is like going to school. As I mentioned in many other posts, I spent the last 16 years learning from the school of the Holy Spirit. Understand this the Holy Spirit will teach providing you will learn. I encourage anybody who attends this school to have a pen, a notebook, and an uncluttered mind. I begin my mornings in prayer and end with “Holy Spirit, your student is ready to learn”. The Holy Spirit helped me to understand David, Solomon, the rest of the kings, and the prophets. I encourage everyone to attend this school and see it through no matter how much common theology and conventional thinking disagree.
Thank you for the great teacher the Holy Spirit. He has been the best teacher I have ever had. Many times I am sure He was shaking his head at my foolishness but never gave up nor lost faith in me. I pray for those who attend this school that they too will learn what you have taught me. May the information I learn to be put to good use by relaying it to the world. I pray for Ukraine and Russia who are embroiled in war. I pray for those who need a special touch from you that You will touch their lives and help them in their walk. I pray for the pastors and teachers who are enduring difficult times and having to do much with less than they need. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I pray for the truckers who carry supplies to our communities. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer (Psalms 19:14).
