when we were formed in the womb, we were made in the image of a Holy G-d. Part of our makeup is the “conscience”. The conscience will either keep us out of trouble or be our most ardent foe depending on how we use it. The thing is, we can shut our conscience off merely by ignoring it. The problem is, that our conscience also replays our errors through dreams, scents, and words. We may wear pretty designed badges of courage and conviction like, “I’m Pastor ___” or, “I am ___”. The problem is, when those badges cover up the wounds of sin, they will eventually fall down and reveal the necrotic, festers, and foul-smelling wound. When the wound becomes too necrotic, it can mean that the wound will need to be amputated. It is for this reason, I believe, Jesus was so strict about sin. G-d is not a “Party Pooper” who looks down his nose on sin and sniffs in contempt at us, He loves us and wants to have “Life and that more abundantly”. Sin destroys everything in its path like a fire that never says, “enough”.

Thank you for the power to overcome every challenge that faces me today. whenever the Devil comes in like a roaring wind, you set up a standard against him that gives us the power and authority to stand on your word. I may not always succeed but I will always have the power to get backup and move on. it is not by might nor by power but my Spirit sayeth the Lord. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I pray for the truckers who carry supplies to our communities. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer (Psalms 19:14).
