Daily Psalm 12/12/2021

Who can discern his errors?
Declare me innocent from hidden faults.
Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins;
let them not have dominion over me!
Then I shall be blameless,
and innocent of great transgression. Psalms 19:12-13

It is all too easy to overlook our faults, misgivings, and fears not knowing the extent of damage they are doing in our lives and that of others. For this reason, we need a solid foundation in Jesus Christ. When we look in the mirror of His Word, we need to take a hard look at our life that is, what we do, our default actions, and the areas that displease the Lord. When there are areas where we displease the Lord we don’t grow in them and they trip us up.

Father,

Please help me today to live for you. Help me to look at all of the areas of my life this Christmas season to see the areas that displease you. I don’t want to displease you because you have done so much in my life and the gift I give to you is my life. I pray for those who are suffering today that you will send help from the sanctuary. I pray for those dealing with COVID that they would be healed. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. I pray for the city of Stacy, the state of Minnesota, and the USA may your Spirit fall fresh upon us. I thank you for healing our land by rain that refreshes the land and the storms that shake the heart of mankind. I pray for those who need a special touch from you today. Finally, I pray that my words will always be an encouragement to all who read these words in Jesus’ name I pray. May your peace be upon my family, city, state, nation, and world. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer (Psalms 19:14).

Daily Psalm 12/11/2021

Steadfast love and faithfulness meet;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Faithfulness springs up from the ground,
and righteousness looks down from the sky.
Yes, the LORD will give what is good,
and our land will yield its increase.
Righteousness will go before him
and make his footsteps away. Psalms 85:10-13

There are things that go hand-in-hand or complete each other. For example, cake and ice cream or, pie and coffee. When we possess a steadfast unmovable faith in the G-d we serve, His steadfast love fulfills the longing of our heart. In saying, “righteousness and peace kiss each other” the implication is that they complement each other and are united. When we live a righteous life, we will have external battles but inwardly we will be at peace. John’s message “prepare the way” meant that he was setting the way of righteousness through the water.

Father,

You are the Lord G-d of the universe. thousands of generations have walked in the pathway of righteousness and overcome battles by living according to Your Word. The struggles I face today have already been faced and won so I have confidence that these struggles can be defeated. I pray for those who are enduring harsh times and especially those in the wake of the recent tornados. I intercede for those struggling with the state of this world may your peace be upon them. Daily Psalm 12/9/2021

To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
O my God, in you I trust;
let me not be put to shame;
let not my enemies exult over me.
Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame;
they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.
Make me know your ways, O LORD;
teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you, I wait all day long. Psalms 25:1-5

When we walk with the Lord and are obedient to His laws and commands as a natural response, we will never be ashamed for doing so. Shame comes from misguided steps, foolish actions, and foolish behavior. The reason we are never ashamed for obedience to the Lord is that when problems come, our character remains untarnished and the effects of sin do not touch us. We are not to learn the rebellious people’s ways and nor do we need to be afraid of them. Fearing the Lord implies being concerned about what pleases Him and what brings Him glory.

Father,

You are my fear and my dread as I never want to be guilty of offending You nor your precious Spirit. Help me to number my days upright (Psalms 92:12-17) that I may please you and learn daily of your ways. May you be with those who are suffering under oppression or dealing with trouble that has found its way to their doorstep. I pray especially for my pastoral friend who is dealing with excruciating pain may you be with him to encourage and strengthen him. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm 12/8/2021

For I know that the LORD is great,
and that our Lord is above all gods.
Whatever the LORD pleases, he does,
in heaven and on earth,
in the seas and all deeps.
He, it is who makes the clouds rise at the end of the earth,
who makes lightnings for the rain
and brings forth the wind from his storehouses. Psalms 135:5-7

As a child, I had a vision that showed a sign saying “Jesus is love”. So, I wrote it on paper and showed it to my mother. Upon seeing it, she asked me “How do you know that” and I had no answer for it. When I got saved at the age of 24 after years of abusing my body and mind, I got saved and I felt His love and acceptance. When we read the Word of G-d we question the Lord just as Moses questioned him. You see, it is not until we plant the word in our life, take Him at His word, and walk-in faith do we see His word come alive in us.

Father,

I pray for my readers that they would grow in faith in you. I know Lord that your word opens doors when we walk through what you have opened. I pray for those who are going through struggles that they would be encouraged by what is written. I pray for those who are affected by COVID and OMICRON. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm 12/7/2021

Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the LORD surrounds his people,
from this time forth and forevermore.
For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest
on the land allotted to the righteous,
lest the righteous stretch out
their hands to do wrong.
Do good, O LORD, to those who are good,
and to those who are upright in their hearts!
But those who turn aside to their crooked ways
the LORD will lead away with evildoers!
Peace be upon Israel! Psalms 125

Trusting in the Lord is difficult because we cannot see Him but know that He is present. When people say, “I have had a hard life”, it implies they have been through more than their fair share of problems. If the sentence had ended with that line it might imply “bitterness” just like Naomi. Yet, when we testify to the fact that “no matter how bad things got, I am still here and Jesus is still on the throne”, that shows the power of the G-d we serve (12:11). Many of you are going through hell on wheels and you are not sure where to turn. I highly encourage you to grasp hold of this Psalm and the laws of our Lord.

Father,

I pray for those going through struggles today that you will pour out the balm of Gilead onto these mighty men and women of faith. As we go through advent may you ever be the Lord our G-d. Daily Psalm 12/5/2021

You have caused my companions to shun me;
you have made me a horror to them.
I am shut in so that I cannot escape;
my eye grows dim through sorrow.
Every day I call upon you, O LORD;
I spread out my hands to you.
Do you work wonders for the dead?
Do the departed rise up to praise you? Selah
Is your steadfast love declared in the grave,
or your faithfulness in Abaddon?
Are your wonders known in the darkness,
or your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? Psalms 88:8-12

Each of us, at one time or another, has experienced times where we ask “why aren’t G-d’s promises coming true”. Gideon was in a cistern when the Angel proclaimed him “you mighty man of valor” which had to sound ludicrous to Gideon and was the reasoning for challenging the Angel (Judges 6:11-13). Understand this, G-d does not mind us asking the hard questions like, “where were you when _____ happened” but we must be prepared to listen to the whole counsel of the Lord. G-d never poo-poos our pains or makes them seem small because everything we go through in life is of concern to Him (Psalm 116:15).

Father,

We are everything in your sight. You love us through all of the phases of our life. I pray for those who are suffering today either with the death of a loved one, struggling financially, and/or any ailment that is threatening the foundation of their lives. I know Oh Lord that you are the G-d who lives. You are not the G-d of “yesterday” or the G-d of “my tomorrow” you are the G-d of “my today”. Help me therefore to serve you even when the spirit is unwilling. I pray for my readers that you will be with each and every one of them and that many others will glom onto the encouragement you give me. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm 12/4/2021

Give to them according to their work
and according to the evil of their deeds;
give to them according to the work of their hands;
render them their due reward.
Because they do not regard the works of the LORD
or the work of his hands,
he will tear them down and build them up no more.
Blessed be the LORD!
For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy.
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults,
and with my song, I give thanks to him. Psalms 28:4-7

While Prosperity messages are easy to receive because it means being positively impacted when what we expect does not occur, we become despondent. The devil uses these messages to create conflict in our lives by introducing “doubt”. In this world, we see ample evidence of how the wicked prospers and the righteous are left destitute. THe thing is while the wicked prospers, there is an end in sight and a trap that they cannot get out of. The first lesson in the Kingdom is “trust the Lord and lean not to your own understanding (Proverbs 3:3).

Father,

Thank you for the day that lays ahead of me. I pray for your blessings and your encouragement as I face this day. May you be with my families and friends and send help from the sanctuary to guide them. I pray for those coming down with COVID that you will heal and restore them. Daily Psalm 12/2/2021

The law of the LORD is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the LORD is sure,
making wise the simple;
the precepts of the LORD are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the LORD is pure,
enlightening the eyes;
the fear of the LORD is clean,
enduring forever;
the rules of the LORD are true,
and righteous altogether. Psalms 19:7-9

When the nation embarked on the conquest of Canaan, they were given a copy of the laws and precepts of the Lord. Moses handed down 613 laws to the nation as a foundation for the nation (https://www.jmu.edu/dukehallgallery/exhibitions-past-2018-2019/the-613-mitzvot.shtml). These laws are still applicable today and if abide by them we will be blessed.

Father,

Thank you for your laws which set us free from worry. Help me today to abide by these laws as I face my day. May your blessings be on my home, families, city, state, and nation. May something I have said today bless a life. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. Daily Psalm 11/28/2021

When I considered how to understand this (the pathway of the Kingdom and the worldly demands),
It was too great an effort for me and too painful
Until I came into the sanctuary of God;
Then I understood [for I considered] their end. Psalms 73:16-17

Half of the problem we have in life is that we do not go into the Sanctuary to seek the face of G-d, we do as Israel did “Complain and demonize”. When we set our heart on seeking the face of the Lord as David and Daniel did, He will answer the deeper questions of our life by providing insight into the end of the matter or “end of times”. Many of you today have questions about COVID and may have been negatively impacted by it either by death or having limits set. The thing is, these situations similar to the tragedies of Hitler’s conquest compel people to turn away from G-d. I want to encourage you today to go into the sanctuary to find the help that you need (Psalms 46:1).

Father,

The world and its ways pull at lives and pull families apart. Therefore, help me to daily come before you that I can encourage others who read these posts. May your Spirit guide me today and always. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. Daily Psalm 11/27/2021

The LORD is king forever and ever;
the nations perish from his land.
O LORD, you hear the desire of the afflicted;
you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear
to do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed,
so that man who is of the earth may strike terror no more. Psalms 10:16-18

Fear is a powerful venom that robs of joy and replaces it with “fear of everything”. Faith is the antithesis or, an anti-venom that when employed will stop fear in its tracks. The problem with faith is that we cannot see it or feel it, we can only imagine it and that is dangerous. Today, we are in the throws of COVID19 and it is threatening our mental well-being. So, when we take G-d at His word and act in faith, that fear will cease and desist.

Father,

The news across the land gives us pause and incites fear because we have no control over it. the only thing you give us control over is “ourselves, our attitudes, and behaviors”. When we take control of those things and turn a deaf ear to Fear’s taunts, its power over us will not die out as long as we do not feed it. Help me today to feed faith, joy, and peace in my life and that of my family and nation. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm 11/18/2021

Make me know your ways, O LORD;
teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you, I wait all day long.
Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O LORD! Psalms 25:4-7

Those of you who have been around Christianity for any length of time have seen people with varying walks with the Lord. Some of them are living marginal lives for Jesus and are never quite able to get past the cross while others have dynamic and enviable walks. I think the key ingredients for living a dynamic walk are found in verses 4 and 5. First, “to know” means that the word becomes intimate and personal because you can attest to how its truths impacted your life (John 1:1). 2nd, let the Holy Spirit lead you and help you to understand this book called the Bible. When His word becomes the life that you live and the breath you breathe, your walk will take off to levels you have never known before (Psalms 34).

Father,

I pray that your word will always find good soil in my heart that the fruit of the Spirit may come alive in me. May I grow in the calling you have upon my life? I pray that lives be transformed by the words on this blog and that your Holy Spirit will speak to all who read these words. I know that I cannot walk in Jesus’ path unless your Holy Spirit leads me so please help me to always have my spiritual ears attuned to your voice. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm 11/14/2021

The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward. Psalms 19:7-11

The law of the Lord had never changed and never required to be updated. The reason for this is that G-d’s law does not change to suit man, man needs to change to suit G-d’s laws. Today, culture is all about changing our ways to please people not knowing that at no point will the Devil ever be pleased and nor will mankind. Appeasing people is likened to starting a small snowball and rolling it down a steep hill because change always starts “small” and then builds into bigger things as we are seeing with our nation’s laws. When we live for the Lord and abide by His laws as the governance of our lives, the fruit that comes from it will be appealing and people will want to know about this G-d we serve.

Father,

You gave your laws to Israel to be the foundation by which they would live in Canaan. At no point did you command Israel to tell the world to change, you sent them in as agents of change. In the same way Father, please help me to change lives by living for you all of the days of my life. Help me to always meditate on your law that I may please you in all that I do. I pray for those negatively impacted by COVID 19 and those who were recently involved in gun violence. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm 11/11/2021

All the ends of the earth shall remember
and turn to the LORD,
and all the families of the nations
shall worship before you.
For kingship belongs to the LORD,
and he rules over the nations. Psalms 22:27-28

When we read scriptures like the above, we tend to get a lop-sided view of scripture because we that that “G-d is going to do ___ but misunderstand that He uses “whosoever” to affect change on this earth. If “whosoever” is more concerned about the trappings of the world, people will suffer and their blood will be on our hands. We proclaim that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith but he was not a “Super-human” or Nephilim, he was an ordinary human being just like you and me who said, “Here am I send me” (Isaiah 6:8). Jesus could have just as easily have told G-d “No I don’t want to go to the cross,  I want the easy way out.” and it would have been honored but at a price. The thing is, G-d doesn’t tell us everything that can I be ours if we just trust Him and do what He asks. Remember, the power of the scriptures, including the Psalms, is prefaced on the keyword “obedience”.

Father, in Jesus’ name as I come before you this evening, I pray that when you call me, I will readily respond “here am I send me”. There are people in all four corners of the world that do not know you. Some have heard, like Greeks in Paul’s time” who know of the “unknown G-d” but do not have a relationship with Him. May the words from my keyboard encourage lives for your Kingdom. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Psalm of the Day 11/9/2021

Blessed be the LORD!
For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy.
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults,
and with my song, I give thanks to him. Psalms 28:6-7

When I was stationed on the USS Mississippi (CGN40), I sought the Lord with all of my heart. Many times when I was in prayer the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon me and I was a source of encouragement to all who met me. It was said of me “Mike held the ship in the palm of his hands” and this was because of prayer and serving the Lord faithfully. After I left the Mississippi, my heart was turned to see the almighty “Promotion” which eluded me and I never received it and retired without it. Because my heart was turned, I did foolish things, trusted the wrong people, and made critical errors in judgment. For 10 long years, I experienced one setback after the other because my heart was not in line with the Lord G-d so my heart was a cold lonely place. When I lost a $50k a year job twice in three years, I was angry until I realized I didn’t deserve either of them because I was not qualified. These events brought me to my knees and I was humbled. I learned the hard way that the only true source of salvation is through Jesus not through the trinkets, promotion, and accolades.

Father,

Sin is destructive and it doesn’t care how big, important, or strong we are it decimates indiscriminately. Please help all of the days of my life to honor you and to always keep my eyes on you. May your good Spirit please abide in my heart all of my life and that it be a gift I can pass onto my children and their children. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve. Daily Psalm 11/7/2021

Praise the LORD!
Praise, O servants of the LORD,
praise the name of the LORD!
Blessed be the name of the LORD
from this time forth and forevermore!
From the rising of the sun to its setting,
the name of the LORD is to be praised! Psalms 113:1-3

When we praise the Lord, we are releasing His authority in our life. In the book of Revelations, the encouragement was to praise the Lord and serve Him without fear. We do not have the authority to demand the world change its ways or die. We do, however, have the authority to serve the Lord in our life and the outcome of our decisions will draw people to the Lord (John 12:32). When we say “from the rising of the sun to its setting”, we are saying “always and in every situation”. What situations are you facing today that you need release in? Praise the Lord and lift Him up!

Father,

I thank you for the awesome power to praise you in my life. I know that there is no great power than you. When I consider the world’s fears of Global Warming, I know it’s you, not mankind that can fix the issues. So, with a heart of praise and a new song to sing, I will lift you up that all man may be drawn to you. I pray for those afflicted by COVID 19 that they are healed Oh Lord.

Daily Psalm 11/6/2021

Oh, sing to the LORD a new song,
for he has done marvelous things!
His right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
The LORD has made known his salvation;
he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness
to the house of Israel.
All the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God. Psalms 98:1-3

How does G-d make known His salvation? He makes known His salvation by the way His children live their lives. When we show by our actions our love for Him by loving others. it is very easy to say, “I saw the light and now I’m a brand new man”. Where we run into problems is when our actions do not line up with our words. When we come to the Lord for salvation, there is usually an impetus behind it like being in prison, over our heads in debt, dealing with a persistent illness. Whatever it is that brought us to G-d’s throne,  we are also obligated to do what He commands.

Father,

Thank you for your salvation that does not add to the problem but brings us over the threshold into your Kingdom. There is no other G-d that I would ever want to serve. I know that the ways of this world are mere fads that pass away in time but you are from all eternities past to all eternities present (Psalm 93:2). I desire your salvation to be firmly rooted in my life today and always so please help me to take hold of your hand daily. Daily Psalm 11/4/2021

“At the set time that I appoint
I will judge with equity.
When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants,
it is I who keep steady its pillars. Selah
I say to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’
and to the wicked, Do not lift up your horn;
do not lift up your horn on high,
or speak with haughty neck.’”
For not from the east or from the west
and not from the wilderness comes lifting up,
but it is God who executes judgment,
putting down one and lifting up another. Psalms 75:2-7

Before we make decisions that affect our lives, G-d’s counsel is present to guide us and to check the motivations of our hearts. If we make unwise choices, we continue down the trajectory to the misery which will come to a head at some point in time. Remember, G-d will never put the kibosh to our foolishness, only we can make that choice. Consider the case of Solomon whose life ambition was to intermarry with foreign-born wives who led him into idolatry.

Father,

Please help me to always listen to the full counsel of G-d that I may never get sidetracked by sin. When we are obedient in all of our ways, you bless everything we do (Deuteronomy 28:1-14). Equally, when we are disobedient everything we do will be cursed (Deuteronomy 28:45-68). Lord, it is my personal desire that my life is a blessing to my readers, my families, my community, and my nation. Psalm of the Day 11/2/2021

Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD,
who walks in his ways!
You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands;
you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. Psalms 128:1-2

One of the most troubling things in the life of mankind is “fear”. There are companies that make money selling “fear”. If you are looking for something to be afraid of, you need not look any further than the local newspaper, the TV news, and your local internet web browser. But, G-d’s word says, “Do not fear what the world fears” (Isaiah 8:10-13). When Jesus was holding his last counseling session with the 12, he said “fear not for I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). I would admonish you in the name of the Lord to not fear what is going on in the world but encourage you to pray always (1 Thessalonians 5:12-18).

Father,

Thank you for the power to overcome every situation we find ourselves in. Your word encourages us to not buy into the fear that envelopes the world. You desire that we live in peace and prosper as our soul prospers (3 John 1:2). When the nation rebelled against Moses because they believed the wrong report, they would spend 40 years walking in circles until those who refused your blessing had passed away. I will tell you categorically that I do not want to miss out on your very best for my life so please help me to never take my eyes off of you. I pray especially for those who are enduring tough times either by sickness, job loss, and/or death of a loved one. May you be their peace and great reward.

Daily Psalm 10/31/2021

Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem!
Praise your God, O Zion!
For he strengthens the bars of your gates;
he blesses your children within you.
He makes peace in your borders;
he fills you with the finest of the wheat.
He sends out his command to the earth;
his word runs swiftly.
He gives snow like wool;
he scatters frost like ashes.
He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs;
who can stand before his cold?
He sends out his word, and melts them;
he makes his wind blow and the waters flow.
He declares his word to Jacob,
his statutes and rules to Israel.
He has not dealt thus with any other nation;
they do not know his rules.
Praise the LORD! Psalms 147:12-20

When we experience a life change like the start of a new job, a marriage or a birth of a child, we  pray for G-d’s best. The problem is, how successful or how much we fail is up to us. G-d will never work with a rebellious or an impatient child. In a way, developing our walk with the Lordis like putting a model together. The box is like G-d’s Word, it depicts what the item should look like when it is put together. When we read the instructions and follow them to the letter, we are successful. When we do like I have done, the product doesn’t look like the picture. Developing a successful walk or a ministry takes time so when we go ahead of G-d, unexpected outcomes occur like the case of Sarai and Hagar.

Father,

In Jesus’ name as I come before you, thank you for the day you have given us. You have blessed us with a beautiful daughter inlaw, a grandson and an adopted grand daughter. Help me daily in my walk with you to wait for you and trust you when you give the command to move out. I love you Lord and I am blessed each day I spend with you. Daily Psalm 10/30/2021

Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name;
worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness.
The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the LORD, over many waters.
The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. Psalms 29:1-4

The Lord G-d wants to do something new in your lives and He wants to complete that which He started. Part of the reason that we are often unproductive is that we want things done our way. Without the Lord working beside Joseph, the conquest would have been a fool’s errand and the same can be said of us. The Spirit of the Lord will never inhabit rebellion as the churches in Asia minor would find out. My prayer for you today is that you will be productive in the Lord and that His best becomes the mantlepiece of your life.

Father,

How we need you in our lives. Help me today to not only sing your praises but to live them as well. Our world is teetering on the edge of oblivion but I know that you are the G-d of the possible. My desire is that when people see me, they see your Spirit at work and desire to know the G-d I serve. I pray for the military, law enforcement, and EMT communities that you will be with every one of them and bring them safely home. I pray over our politicians that you will continue to shake them to their core with the message of the Ephod so that they fully understand who they serve.
